So I've been a little disappointed that I haven't had anything to write about that was interesting lately. But my good ol' Brother Ryan's birthday party tonight provided me with just the right ammunition.
So Firstly,
Happy Birthday Ryan! I can't believe he is 17 years old! He is my baby brother (we are 12 years apart, just like he and Cambria) and I have always loved him. When he was a little baby and couldn't talk I used to spend so much time telling him all my High school drama problems because I knew he couldn't ever tell anyone. Now he's all grown up, colleges from ALL over are trying to recruit him because he is a genius, and He is a dang good athlete as well (with really big muscles that he is proud of). I may not get all the details right, but you'll get the general idea. Now, let the story begin:

It was a family dinner not unlike any other. My mom, dad, three brothers, grandma, cousin Candi and the Migdat clan were all in attendance. Oh, yeah, and my brother Sean brought a date along for the evenings festivities. The traditional Happy birthday song had been sung and the candles were blown out leaving a lot more smoke than seemed usual. My Grandmother began to cough. Kind of a lot. Then my Aunt Wendy, who was sitting next to her, began to cough too. They way they coughed began to make my Mom and Dad nervous. My Dad went to check the BBQ and realized he'd left it on and thought that was the source of the problem. He turned it off and returned to the dinner table. Shortly After my Dad began to cough. Kind of a lot. Then my Mom and I guess the cough worked its way around the table hitting everyone. They thought maybe they'd poisoned the air with their cooking. The bouts of coughing ended, but every once in awhile, they'd start up again. My Brother Chis had been playing with Sean's date's key chain sporadically through out the evening. Later on as the Migdat's were getting into their car and about to leave, Sean's date said "that was so weird, it was like someone was spraying my pepper spray." as she delicately touched her key chain. A sheepish grin spread Chris's face as he said, "Oh, was that what it was?" He has seen her key chain, and not knowing what the pepper spray was, sprayed it out every once in awhile.
This is him. Whoops. I don't know if he looks innocent, but he does know htat Pepper Spray works.

In other stories, I've reread the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer again, and I have been thinking a lot about Edward. It would be nice to have him stay up all night with my kids when they wouldn't or couldn't sleep. You know, if he didn't wan to drink their blood or anything like that. And What if somebody could hear my thoughts. What would they think of me? I wonder what kind of person I sound like on the inside where all my secret feelings are free to safely bounce around. I think I am very glad that my thoughts can't be heard.
