My little girl turned 8 not too long ago. She is the perfect mix of sweet and sassy and I love her, dearly.
When Cambria chose to be baptized 2 years ago, Kiera couldn't wait for the day when she could follow in her sister's foot steps. She was baptized on Saturday and it was such a sweet experience. My mom flew out for the occasion and many of Kai's family members were able to attend because they were in town to celebrate Tutu's 85th birthday. We were also blessed to have so many of our close Mesquite friends come to support Kiera on her special day. I can't tell you how awesome our friends are. I just feel so blessed at the outpouring of love that we constantly receive from them. Family is obligated to love you and be there for you- and our family is wonderful to us. But friends have no such obligation, they just support you because they care for you. In the area of family and friends, we feel truly blessed.
Of her baptism, Kiera wrote " The water was warm. Afterwards, I felt warm, pure and clean. I will never forget that."
